Applying to Elmira College as an international student is easy! Students can apply online via the Common Application or the Elmira College Application. Completed international student applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants are notified of decisions by email as soon as they are available.
The deadline for applications for admission and financial aid for international students is June 1st for Fall term and December 1st for Winter term.

Standardized Test Scores
All non-native English speakers must submit official copies of their most recent TOEFL or IELTS score. The minimum desired score is at least an 80 on the TOEFL Internet Based Test or 6 on the IELTS exam or a PTE Score of 60. All enrolled students will have their English ability assessed upon arrival at Elmira College.
Official Transcripts of Academic History
All students must submit an official transcript of courses taken during secondary school. If you have not graduated yet, transcripts should show the most recent results available. Provide translation of transcripts in English.
Applicants who are currently attending a university should submit official transcripts of all post-secondary academic work, along with a Dean of Students Form from the Dean of Students at all institutions that have been attended.
Letter of Recommendation
The student should submit at least one letter of recommendation from someone who knows them in an academic sense, such as a teacher or academic counselor.
International Student Financial Assistance Application
International students who intend to apply for financial assistance from Elmira College must submit the International Student Financial Assistance Application. There is a limited amount of financial assistance based on financial need available from Elmira College. International students should not assume that all costs will be met with financial aid.
