Our Promise to Make Your Transition Effortless
At Elmira College, we're here to help make your school transfer smooth. That's why we are committed to the Transfer Promise. We can answer questions about campus life, financial aid and the curriculum you're studying. We also provide a credit evaluation before you apply, guaranteed housing, orientation and online class selection.
I am very happy I made the decision to transfer to EC from a SUNY institution because it has made my college experience much more personal for me. I no longer feel like just a number in a classroom…

Credit Transfer Evaluation
Before you apply for admission, you’ll want to know if your college credits and courses will transfer. A Transfer Admissions Counselor will help you arrange a credit evaluation so you’ll know exactly what can be used toward your requirements for graduation.
Scholarships & Aid
There are many financial aid and scholarship options, including special transfer scholarships, available.
Guaranteed On-Campus Housing
Almost all Elmira College students live on campus so they can be part of our vibrant community. As a transfer student, you will be guaranteed housing in one of our residence halls so that you can meet classmates and find support.
Orientation & Course Selection
We want you to succeed as a transfer to Elmira. Every transfer student is invited to attend the Summer Registration Programs to get to know classmates and our community. You’ll also be able to register for all of your classes online.
The transfer process was very easy due to the articulation program that Corning Community College has with Elmira College. Consider Elmira College as your next college to finish your Bachelor's Degree, to make friends, have excellent professors, and be ready for your professional career!
